Poverty - Other curriculum links

Science: Explore the concepts of health and growth using the content of the section and sub-sections Being ill, keeping healthy. Discuss diet, common diseases and remedies and describe their impact on health. This links with Scheme of Work, Science Keystage 1 and 2, Unit 2A.

History: Using the photo's which illustrate the Black spot of Brighton theme, or the tour of housing over three centuries on the My Brighton and Hove website, ask the class to explore 'What was it like to live here in the past'.  This links in with Scheme of Work, History Keystage 1 and 2, Unit 18.
